Publicover & Co., Winter 2020–present
My client was a presentation coach. She has a proprietary test that breaks speaking styles into eight presentation archetypes much as the Meyers Briggs test does for personalities. She was using Typeform and Mailchimp to run the campaigns, but neither piece of software was meeting her exact needs. So Presentation Style Indicator is a 100% custom job.
The app needs an admin to first set up the archetypes that will come in the results. Next comes the questions of each test and the several multiple choice or essay answers. The admin then inputs via CSV email address of the next cohort to take the test (the admin could do it by hand if they're feeling particularly analog that day). The members of the cohort are emailed a link to their particular test, they take it, and the system records their answers while calculating which archetype they fall into. A report is generated for each user, and a report on the responses of the cohort is generated for the admin. The system also keeps reports on all users who have ever used the system for a visualization panel.
Since the order of the answers of each test are presented in random order, it was a little more slippery holding onto the multiple answers the user had already given if they wanted to hit the back button two dozen times.
