The Alabama Scholarship Opportunity Fund connects low-income students with school tuition vouchers. It was built to digitize an intake process that was wholly on paper.

The app saw about 10k users log in to enter the selection process by filling in demographic information in a long series of forms and uploading tax information. For most of the year, there wasn't much need for users to log in because most everything else was handled by email. My part on this team was mostly styling and admin panels due to the large number of devs we had working on it.

The biggest challenge

Recreating complex forms and allowing admin users to filter and sort without losing any information from the params. The solutions to both of these are relatively straightforward.
